It is true that Sam Adams was a brewmaster of beer, but it was a spirit of another sort that intoxicated him most — the Spirit of 76. He, along with James Otis, were the fuel-ladened kindling for what was to become America’s sacred fire of liberty.

We chose the torpedo because it describes Sam’s personality to a tee. He was focused to a sharp end and relentless in his belief that being at liberty was the most natural state of humanity.
