Benjamin Franklin was the prototypical American ideal personified. He rose from modest beginnings and then struck out on his own at a tender age. His life was a symphony of accomplishments that awes us still today.

He was also perfectly aged at the perfect time. His wise grandfatherly affect served the younger more rambunctious patriots well – always just when they needed it most – and they would repeatedly rely on his wisdom and sound judgement to navigate the best way forward.

He was confident in who he was and was always at ease whether before the kings of Europe or the poor on the streets of Philadelphia.

We chose the Churchill vitola for The Franklin as he and Winston Churchill were so similar in their attributes.
