George Washington as a very young man was forged in the heat of battle. This literal trial by fire instilled in him the courageous and unassailable character which would prove indispensable to the budding American Republic. No Founding Father stands above him.

The Ligero leaf wrapper of the Washington is from the top four or five rows of the tobacco plant.  These upper leaves bask in the intense caribbean sunlight, infusing in them a bold, rugged character. The Connecticut broadleaf binder, also a sun drenched tobacco, produces a rich, muscular flavor which when complimented and refined by an exquisite blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan leaf creates a truly stellar cigar.
